About This Site

Fukuoka Japan Travel Guide is an independent editorial guide to Fukuoka and the Kyushu day-trip range around it, covering the landmarks, the areas, the itineraries, the day trips and the questions visitors actually type, alongside 45 verified bookable experiences.

Who Runs This Guide

This site is an editorial desk, not a personality. There is no named author, no byline and no claimed residency. The work behind every page is research and reporting: reading the operators' own listings, official venue and city sources and live public data, then writing plain comparisons from what those sources actually say. Nobody here claims to have eaten at the yatai, walked the temple quarter, ridden the scenic train or stood on the rim at Aso. What you get is a desk that checks figures against the record and says so when a number cannot be confirmed.

How the Numbers Are Checked

Every rating, review count, duration and starting price shown here is the booking platform's own published figure, read twice through two independent surfaces and re-pulled in a single locale so the numbers describe one market rather than an average of several. Where two passes disagreed on a figure, the product was held back rather than published with a guess, and one was. That leaves no product on this site whose price, rating or review count is left open, and the build fails if one ever is. One listing is genuinely new and carries no reviews yet, which the page says plainly instead of printing a rating nobody gave it. The full record sits in the verification file behind the build, and every number has to appear in the site's own verified fact pack before it ships.

What This Guide Will Not Do

No invented figures, ever. If a price, rating or review count cannot be read and confirmed, the page says so instead of filling the gap. Two city passes that would sell well here are written about with no price and no booking link, because their prices could only be read once and once is not enough. No fake scarcity, no countdown pressure, no paid placement dressed up as a recommendation. The desk does not claim firsthand experience it does not have and does not invent distances, dates or crowd sizes. When something is unknown, it stays unknown.

How This Site Earns

Bookings made through links on this site may earn the site a payment from the provider, at no extra cost to the reader. That is the entire business model, and it runs across experiences, places to stay, rail, transfers, bag storage, data plans, flights and insurance. No operator pays for placement, none can buy a higher position, and the order of listings reflects the comparison itself. The full detail is on the disclosure page.
